Lion Claudio Addison Buncamper PMJF was born on July 23^rd, 1969 on the beautiful Island of Sint Maarten to the parents of Lion Claudius Anthony Buncamper Sr. and Lioness Jacintha Teresita Buncamper-Harms.

Lion Claudio at the age of 14 years joined the Sint Maarten Leo’s Club as a Charter Member and held various positions like Treasurer and President in the Leo Club.

Lion Claudio at the age of 18 years left Sint Maarten to further his studies at Johnson & Wales University in Providence Rhode Islands. In June 1991, Lion Claudio graduated Magda Cum Laude in Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management. Lion Claudio started to work at the National Airline of Sint Maarten, Windward Islands Airways dba Winair as a customer service agent in August 1991. Over the years Lion Claudio worked various positions at Winair and became manager of Customer Service Department in 1999. In 2001, Lion Claudio was promoted to Director Customer Services and Marketing & Sales.

Over the years from Lion’s Claudio return to St. Maarten, Lion Claudio continued serving the Leo’s Club.

In 1999 Lion Claudio became a member of the Sint Maarten Lions Club and since then has held various positions in the club like Director, treasurer, secretary, membership director and finally president. The Sint Maarten Lions club under the leadership of Lion Claudio and his team won in 2013 – 2014 Lions Club of Multiple District 60  

Lion Claudio has served various positions in district 60B like associate district chair, district chair, Zone Chairman Zone 2B, Region Chairman Region 2, Vice District Governor and District Governor from 2021 - 2022

In 2006 Lion Claudio married Mariapina Buncamper-Orias and has two Children, Claudine Buncamper (15 years old) and Claudio Buncamper Jr (11 Years Old)

Lion Claudio is presently serving as chairman of the supervisory board of the Cadaster and Land Registry of Sint Maarten.

Lion Claudio has served his communities for some 39 years and is now serving Lions International Multiple District 60 as their Council Chair for 2022 - 2023
